Results of ShymkentBuild 2018: growth of the exposition and effective cooperation

The Exhibition Center “Korme” (Shymkent) has already gathered specialists of the industry and business partners for the 4th time at one of the main events of South Kazakhstan construction industry - the annual exhibition ShymkentBuild 2018, which traditionally worked for three days from March 13 to 15.

The event was attended by such high-ranking guests as Akim of South Kazakhstan region Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuimebayev, Akim of Shymkent city Nurlan Yermekovich Sauranbayev, Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region Askar Begdauletovich Abubakirov and Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Industrial-Innovative Development and Tourism of South Kazakhstan region Kurmanseit Batyrkhan.

The exhibition participants were the manufacturers and suppliers from Uzbekistan, Russia, as well as the representatives of small and medium-sized construction business in Kazakhstan. They presented the following categories of goods to visitors of the exhibition:

• All kinds of building materials and equipment;
• Paints and varnishes;
• Pipe fittings;
• Heating, water supply, sewerage and many more.

In addition, ShymkentBuild 2018 was visited by the specialists from Iran, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Turkey and Sweden.

In turn, the organizers note an increase in the number of visitors by 14% compared with the exposition in 2017, on the first day of the event the visitors were active.

“We see a high level of activity from both the participants and visitors of the event. And the urgency of holding the construction exhibition is due to the interest of large domestic and international companies in South Kazakhstan region,” - the exhibition organizers commented.

73% of the visitors of ShymkentBuild 2018 indicated that the main purpose of visiting the exhibition is to find products or services for business, and to obtain general industry information. The exhibitors also note the high passability and involvement of the invited audience.

“We liked the exhibition very much. There were many visitors who asked the right questions. We successfully sold one of our printers, which we brought to the exhibition for demonstration, the deal was worth $ 27,000” - the representatives of Victory Latex (the official reseller of large format printers and consumables Hewlett Packard in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) summed up the results of the participation.

ShymkentBuild 2018 was not an interactive platform where participants build partnerships with visitors, but also establish mutually beneficial cooperation among themselves, as well as gain new knowledge, experience and share trends in the sphere.

So, within the framework of the event, the special conference “Implementation of New Technologies in the Construction Industry” was organized, initiated by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region, where the speakers were the chairman of the committee of construction, production of building materials, the representatives of manufacturing companies, the executives of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

The 5th Anniversary Exhibition ShymkentBuild will be held in 2019.
