EXHIBITION SHYMKENTBUILD: OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The fifth South Kazakhstan Building and Interior Exhibition ShymkentBuild 2019 will be held from March 13 to 15 in Shymkent. The coming year will be a landmark for the ShymkentBuild exhibition - five years of successful work.

The exhibition attaches great importance to the fact that in the summer of 2018 Shymkent officially became a city of republican significance, and the city of Turkestan became the administrative center of the Turkestan region (former South Kazakhstan). The development of the third metropolis of the country is closely related to the construction industry. According to the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the results of 9 months of 2018 in Shymkent, there was an increase in the rate of housing construction by 48.6%.

In accordance with the “Concepts of the social and economic development of the city of Shymkent until 2020”, a number of promising projects are now required, but more are planned: the creation of agro-industrial zones “Shymkent”, the construction of buildings of regional courts, dormitories, colleges, kindergartens and schools, the construction of a new airport terminal, the modernization of the railway station, the reconstruction of a number of urban facilities.

In 2020, it is planned to begin construction of automobile bypasses of Shymkent and Saryagash and the reconstruction of a section of the road from Saryagash to the border with the Republic of Uzbekistan. The city has already begun to create a Disneyland and water park, located 17 kilometers from Shymkent.

The implementation of the task of forming a large industrial, innovation, tourism, trade and logistics center in this region requires large investment injections. So, for the first 9 months of 2018, the volume of investments in the economy of Shymkent increased 2.8 times.

In the context of interrelated economic relations between the countries, an effective strategy of cooperation with the best domestic and foreign specialists is required. Therefore, the exhibition ShymkentBuild has become an annual significant event in the construction sector for the whole of South Kazakhstan and the nearest neighboring countries – Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for exhibiting companies to present their products in the following sections: construction, interior, window technologies, ceramics and stone, heating, water supply and ventilation, road construction.

With the development of the region, the construction of new and modernization of existing facilities in the local market, there is a need to address issues of energy saving and energy efficiency of business facilities.

In this regard, in parallel with the exhibition ShymkentBuild will be held South Kazakhstan exhibition "Energy, electrical engineering and power engineering" Powerexpo Shymkent 2019. Location of both exhibitions: Municipal public institution "Exhibition center", Nursat microdistrict, Astana avenue 12, Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

The ShymkentBuild exhibition annually brings together more than 1,000 professionals of the construction industry. Following the results of the 2018 exhibition: 76% of visitors consider visiting the exhibition useful for business, and 85% of exhibitors believe that the event is important for the development of their business.

Exhibitions ShymkentBuild and Powerexpo Shymkent are held with the support of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Administration of South Kazakhstan region, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region, as well as the Union of Builders of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The event is organized by the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca and its international partner ITE Group of Companies (United Kingdom).
