On behalf of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan I am glad to welcome the participants and guests of the 2nd South-Kazakhstan international Construction and Interiors Exhibition - ShymkentBuild 2016.
The construction sector makes a significant contribution to the social and economic development of South Kazakhstan region, especially fostering the solution of housing problems of the population and modernization of the region’s infrastructure. The region produces more than 50 kinds of basic building materials, has 30 large and medium-sized enterprises, more than 125 workshops, which manufacture equipment, structures and products for the construction industry.
Shymkent city is a major industrial and manufacturing center occupying a primary share in regional volume of industrial production. “Ontustik” special economic zone successfully operates in the region.
One of the key activities of the construction industry for the second consecutive year will become ShymkentBuild exhibition. The important role of the exhibition is to promote the development of high-quality building materials production for commercial and residential construction.
The modernization of existing enterprises, the establishment of new production facilities for manufacturing building materials and products based on advanced scientific research will ensure the dynamic development of the domestic construction industry, and thus the economy and quality of life of our population.
I am glad to realize that the exhibition presents many Kazakh companies that demonstrate the variety of innovative and environmentally friendly building materials, which I believe, will be in demand by domestic builders.
I am sure that ShymkentBuild exhibition will be fruitful and there will be a lot of interesting and promising projects and solutions for the development of the domestic construction industry.

Dear participants and guests of ShymkentBuild 2016 Exhibition!
On behalf of Akimat of South Kazakhstan region I am pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the 2nd South Kazakhstan International Building and Interiors Exhibition - ShymkentBuild 2016.
According to Decree of President “On Government Planning System in the Republic of Kazakhstan” the Developing Programme of South Kazakhstan region in 2016-2020 was developed. Along with this, in 2016-2020 1671.8 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned. The annual growth in the volume of construction works at the level of 1.5-2% is expected. By 2020, urban residents will be provided with central water supply by 100%, in rural areas – by 80.2%.
In South-Kazakhstan region the growth of housing and civil construction is a significant factor in the development of the construction industry and the economy as a whole. ShymkentBuild exhibition, which was successfully launched in 2015 will help to solve topical issues of contemporary urban planning regarding the introduction of the innovations in facilities’ complex operation and investment attraction.
In modern conditions moving the industry forward is possible only due to the joint efforts, and also holding the specialized exhibition ShymkentBuild, undoubtedly contributes to it. Through the works of the companies’ specialists by running the stands South Kazakhstan region and Shymkent city will be able to use the latest technology and materials on the construction sites, thus ensuring a leading position of the region in many industries.
It is crucial to hold such exhibition events on which the latest developments in the sphere of building materials and technologies are demonstrated as in South Kazakhstan region the demand for products of the construction industry is growing year by year. Our region is one of the territorial entities of the country developing powerfully and dynamically. In the region a lot of urban planning projects, including the unique ones are being implemented, large-scale social programs are consistently being carried out.
I am convinced that ShymkentBuild 2016 Exhibition will contribute to introducing new technologies, the efficient use of available capacities in construction, the improvement of investment climate and the development of the construction industry in South Kazakhstan region.

On behalf of the National Association of Legal Entities “Union of Builders of Kazakhstan” I am glad to welcome participants and guest at the 2-nd South-Kazakhstan International Construction and Interior Exhibition - ShymkentBuild 2016.
Nowadays the industry of South Kazakhstan region faces the issues regarding the improvement of construction products, productivity growth, the development of innovative import-substituting industries and the introduction of innovative technologies. Their solution is impossible without modern approach to the organization of the construction process, transition towards a building information model based on ISO open standards, integrated approach to the development of technical regulation system for all stages of the life cycle of construction objects meeting the requirements of urban planning legislation.
In accordance with the Decree of the President “On the State Planning System in the Republic of Kazakhstan” the Program for the Development of South Kazakhstan region in 2016-2020 was developed. On behalf of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan I would like to welcome the participants, organizers and guests of the 2nd South Kazakhstan International Construction and Interior Exhibition “ShymkentBuild 2016”.
Today, the building complex which is one of the basic industries of Kazakhstan faces a number of serious economic and social problems, the solution of which will have a major impact on the improvement of the socio-economic situation in our countries as a whole, and in certain regions. In particular, the construction of industrial facilities will contribute to job creation and to raise the level of welfare of the citizens.
One of the conditions for increasing the investment attractiveness of the industry is a modernization of the building complex, the introduction of innovations, technologies and materials.
The holding of such events draws attention of many Russian and foreign companies, offers an opportunity to make an important step towards the development of cooperation of all representatives of the industry: architects, urban planners, investors, manufacturers of construction equipment and materials.
