On behalf of the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan I would like to welcome the participants and guests of the 3rd South Kazakhstan Building and Interiors Exhibition ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent 2017. The building complex, including the production of construction materials plays the leading role in the economy of Kazakhstan. The development of the building complex is one of the key indicators of economic and technological development of the country, as well as an important condition for the implementation of the State Program of Industrial-Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.
I am sure that the international exhibition ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent will give an additional impetus to bring together the professional and business community for the future development of the building complex under challenging coditions due to the current economic situation, ultimately, will serve to strengthen the economy and welfare of the inhabitants of the South Kazakhstan region.
The Exhibition will offer the exhibitors, industry experts and professional visitors the opportunity of effective business communication, which will allow them to establish new mutually beneficial contacts, expand the customer base, develop new ideas and innovative solutions in the professional sphere.
The Exhibition will also make a significant contribution to positive development of this industry, will enable domestic and foreign participants to jointly determine the strategic directions of cooperation in the future.

On behalf of the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan Region I am glad to welcome the participants and guests of the 3rd South Kazakhstan building and interior exhibition - ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent 2017.
In the context of globalization, the competitiveness of the country's economy largely depends on the efficient operation of the building complex. That is why the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan region pays great attention to the development of the construction system. In addition, to date there is the project implemented within the framework of the Concept of Shymkent socio-economic development until 2020 titled as “Shymkent City”. The main emphasis of the project is to improve the lives of residents, business development, and also increasing of investment and tourists. ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent exhibition is a meeting place for professionals of the construction sector with a view to concluding contracts, innovation and discussion of topical issues in the construction sphere.
In addition, economic development requires new approaches to the development of construction. In this regard, I believe that ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent 2017 exhibition will contribute to the promotion of high-quality construction services, the introduction of advanced technology, further investment in infrastructure construction.

On behalf of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region I would like to welcome the participants and visitors of the exhibition ShymkentBuild/WorldBuild Shymkent 2017. The challenge for SKR, in particular for Shymkent, is to become the third city in the country, the business and trade center, a modern metropolis, comfortable for residents and attractive to visitors. This is not an easy task, but accomplishable. And to implement it people of Shymkent have all possibilities: entrepreneurship in Shymkent is developing very actively, the number of small and medium businesses is growing, almost half of the population is involved in the private sector.
Construction in South Kazakhstan is one of the priority areas, and business activity here is very high. All those, involved in the construction sector, are constantly in need of new technology, new equipment, new partners and contracts. Therefore, South Kazakhstan Building and Interiors Exhibition ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent plays an important role in the development of our region. It gives the opportunity to meet with the heads of the companies of interest, to hold negotiations with partners, to share experiences, as well as to see the trends of the construction industry.
Today there is a full range of building materials and equipment, starting from cement, ready-mixed concrete and dry mixes, to rolled steel and hi-tech road and construction equipment for repair and finishing works produced in South Kazakhstan.
In the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of SKR works the Committee for Construction operates, it unites the whole construction market of South Kazakhstan. And we are also interested in having more companies which will sign contracts right here at ShymkentBuild / WorldBuild Shymkent exhibition.
The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual Address to the people said that ensuring the transfer of the latest technologies both in construction and manufacture of building materials is important. “The processes of urbanization are fuelled by the development of the construction sector. It must become a full driver of the domestic economy”, - highlighted Nursultan Nazarbayev.
I am sure that the day, when South-Kazakhstan region will be the center of gravity of the construction sector, is not far away.
