Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
On behalf of Akimat of South Kazakhstan region, I am pleased to welcome participants and guests of the 4th South Kazakhstan Building & Interiors Exhibition – «ShymkentBuild 2018».
South Kazakhstan region occupies advantageous geographical location at the junction of Kazakhstan with Central Asia, at the intersection of transport routes from Europe to South-East Asia, to the countries of Near and Far East, as well as a large industrial center that has a predominant share in regional volume of industrial production.
At the present time, construction industry of the region is growing rapidly, the territory of cities is expanding, South Kazakhstan Region Development Program for 2016-2020 is being implemented. In the next five years, it is planned to build 4.8 mln. sq. m. of housing accommodation, in South Kazakhstan region annually until 2021, more than 1 mln. sq. m. of housing accommodation under state program "Nurly Jer" is planned to put into operation. Special economic zone "Ontustyk" is successfully operating in the region. In addition, Shymkent City project is currently being implemented as part of the President's order to develop Shymkent city as the third Kazakhstan megacity and as a part of Shymkent Development Concept until 2020.
Holding of ShymkentBuild exhibition makes a significant contribution to development of construction industry, helping to obtain the most complete and objective information on state of affairs in construction industry of South Kazakhstan region, exchange views on the most pressing issues, establish business contacts between enterprises from different regions of Kazakhstan, as well as CIS countries. In this regard, I am convinced that specialized ShymkentBuild 2018 exhibition will promote high-quality construction services, introduction of advanced technologies, further attraction of investments in construction infrastructure.

On behalf of the Committee on Construction, Housing and Utilities Services of the Ministry for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I welcome participants and guests of the 4th South Kazakhstan Building & Interiors Exhibition – «ShymkentBuild 2018».
Construction industry in Kazakhstan plays an important role in the economy of the whole country. Development and modernization of construction complex is an important condition for implementation of State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.
Annual holding of construction exhibitions in Shymkent remain relevant due to a growing number of manufacturers and suppliers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Choice of venue is explained by annual development of region infrastructure: the region launched large-scale projects within the framework of «Nurly Jer» program, a number of facilities under construction increased by 124%. Stable growth indicators allow us to assess effectiveness of housing construction program. In addition, construction of sewage treatment plants, government agencies, automobile interchanges and business center Shymkent City is underway. Geographically perspective location is also important, which facilitates attraction of both Kazakhstan and foreign visitors.
I am sure that ShymkentBuild 2018 exhibition will contribute to solution of pressing problems, will allow establishment of constructive dialogue between all representatives of the industry.
I wish guests and participants fruitful cooperation, effective establishment of contacts, favorable circumstances and conditions for solution of set tasks!

South Kazakhstan Oblast can truly be called the center of the entrepreneurship of the country having the largest number of entrepreneurs, numerous innovative projects implemented within small and medium businesses, and, of course, hard-working and forward-thinking people.
On behalf of the South Kazakhstan Branch of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, we are delighted to welcome all exponents and visitors of the South Kazakhstan Building & Interiors Exhibition “ShymkentBuild 2018”. Our region faces tremendous challenges, including those in the construction sector, and we do have human assets, sufficient resources, professional experience, ambitious goals and aspiring vision. Construction sector is one of the key directions in economic development of our region.
Annually, this Entrepreneurship Center of the country brings together progressive companies that demonstrate their products, present their latest advances, discuss joint projects and share best practices.
For the years of its existence, the Exhibition has repeatedly reaffirmed its status of the indeed significant event. It is no exaggeration to call this trade-show the indicator of the industry since every year here we show off our professional achievements, success stories and innovations, strengthen our partnership unions and establish new business connections. Today, builders have to solve very complicated issues, and in this regard this sectoral event can be considered a generator of the creative energy. So let us wish to ShymkentBuild 2018 to bring to light the most promising tendencies of all aspects of the building complex.
I hope that participation in this exhibition will become a real chance for most regions of Kazakhstan to open up their potential, enhance their competitive advantages and establish a framework for further long-standing and reliable partner relations. South Kazakhstan Branch of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs has the special Construction Committee which covers all construction market of the South Kazakhstan region. And, admittedly, we are also motivated to encourage our companies to sign contracts exactly here, at the Exhibition of ShymkentBuild.

Construction industry plays a critically important role in the economy of Kazakhstan. It is no exaggeration to say that growing construction capacities constitute one of the key indicators of the economic development of the country.
In his Address to the nation of Kazakhstan as of January 10th, 2018, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N.A. Nazarbayev, stressed the significance of the introduction of modern technologies into the construction industry and housing and communal services sector.
Due to the ongoing state programs, the overall annual volume of the housing commissioning in Kazakhstan has exceeded 10 millions square meters. Holding of this exhibition attended by leading domestic and international companies and organizations is becoming a good tradition that contributes to the further growth of the construction sector which, in turn, belongs to the most significant indicators of the economic development of the country.
The Exhibition serves to demonstrate latest advances of local and foreign companies in the field of engineering and introduction of the present-day technologies in the building industry, and also, which is no less important, to bring together representatives of the public sector, financial institutions, non-governmental organizations and leading scientists and businessmen, who all together will find a fresh perspective of the future development of the construction sphere.
I have no doubt that this Exhibition will be used as an effective dialogue platform and will give a new impetus to the evolvement of the construction industry.

On behalf of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, I am pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the 4th South Kazakhstan Building & Interiors Exhibition - “ShymkentBuild 2018”.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the System of State Planning in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the Development Program of South Kazakhstan Region for 2016-2020 was developed. Along with this, in 2016-2020 in the region 1671.8 thousand square meters of housing will be put into operation, an annual increase in the volume of construction work at the level of 1.5-2% is expected. By 2020, the urban residents will be provided with central water supply by 100%, in rural areas - 80.2%.
The construction industry takes one of the main positions in the structure of the economy of the South Kazakhstan region and has a significant impact on its development. An important condition for increasing the region’s investment attractiveness and maintaining economic growth is the modernization of the construction complex, the introduction of innovative developments, technologies and materials. Moreover, the geographic location of the region contributes to the favorable development of integration processes with the countries of Central Asia.
I am confident that holding ShymkentBuild Exhibition will give an additional impetus to unite the efforts of the professional and business community for the promising development of the construction complex under challenging conditions based on the current economic situation and, ultimately, will serve to strengthen the economy of South Kazakhstan region and the well-being of our residents.
Discussion of the tasks and problems of the professional community on the platform of ShymkentBuild Exhibition is an essential condition for the development of the construction sector, and ultimately - an impetus for the improvement of the quality of the urban environment and the lives of citizens of South Kazakhstan region. I am convinced that the exhibition will contribute to the implementation of progressive projects of the construction industry.

Today’s building industry is rapidly growing, and holding of this Exhibition is the most anticipated event for the construction community of our countries. Development of the building industry plays an important role in the overall social and economic growth of our countries and their regions. In particular, construction of industrial objects brings new jobs and contributes to the rising prosperity of all citizens. ShymkentBuild-2018 will give another impetus to the development of different sectors related to the manufacture of construction materials and building structures and continue to be an important link in establishing trans-regional and international contacts.
Present-day challenging situation attaches even more significance and importance to the Exhibition since this event comes into notice of many Russian and abroad companies, providing its participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their current achievements and study best international practices. This is where business people meet to hold constructive meetings which become a solid basis for further development of the cooperation between our countries.
